PSG
The reigning European champions kept up their good form against Bayer Leverkusen, blasting seven goals past them and maintaining their perfect record. They’re now top of the league phase, having won nine out of nine possible points and are the favourites to win the title again in May.

Fermín López
The Spanish youngster is proving that he made the right decision to stay in Barcelona, as he continues to shine and show glimpses of what a world-class player he could turn into in the future. In just his fourth start of the season, he scored his first ever hattrick against Olympiacos in the Champions League. All eyes will be on him this Sunday as they face Real Madrid at the Bernabéu.

Arsenal
Arsenal came out victorious in the most anticipated fixture of the Champions League Matchday 3. It was a very close match up until the 57th minute, when Arsenal finally managed to break down Atlético’s defence from a set piece. They then scored three more goals in the span of thirteen minutes, completing a bit of a deceiving scoreline. The English side have won all nine possible points in the Champions League but haven’t done enough to have earned the “favourites” tag yet.

Florian Wirtz
The German midfielder finally delivered his first goal contributions for Liverpool after providing two assists in Liverpool’s 5-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt. He’s been receiving a lot of criticism, after not having scored or assisted in his first ten games for the club, but he’s finally broken the curse and will hopefully get back to the best of his abilities.

Bayern
Bayern Munich comfortably beat Club Brugge 4-0, as they’ve also won nine out of nine possible points in the Champions League. They’re certainly one of the contenders to go all the way in May and are looking even scarier than last season with the addition of Luis Díaz. German youngster Lennart Karl was awarded the man of the match against Club Brugge, scoring his first goal for Bayern at just 17 years old.
