After nine matchdays, RC Deportivo currently sit in second place in LaLiga Hypermotion. They haven’t played in LaLiga since they were relegated in 2018 and are currently on track to finally achieve promotion.
They’ve won 16 points so far, the exact same points they won in the 2013/14 campaign, in which they were promoted back to first division, after nine matchdays. The way their league campaign is shaping up, it looks like history will repeat itself and Depor will get promoted for the first time in 12 years.
Depor are also currently the only LaLiga winners that are not playing in the Spanish top-flight. They won the league in the year 2000 and were the runners-up in five different seasons.
Having stated the prior, every football fan wants to see Deportivo La Coruña rise again and compete in the division where they belong due to their immense history and importance in Spanish football.
