Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid will face off on Saturday for the first time this season. Real Madrid are the massive favourites, seeing as they’ve won all their seven games this season so far. On the other hand, Atlético de Madrid is experiencing their worst start to a season in the Simeone era. They managed to narrowly escape from another defeat or draw against Rayo Vallecano last night, but they’re currently eighth in the league table.

As for the Real Madrid players, Vinícius Júnior is starting to pick up his form again, Bellingham is slowly coming back from his injury and Kylian Mbappé is showing no signs of slowing down. Terrifying news for Atlético de Madrid, whose only upsides right now are Julián Alvarez’s exceptional form and Álex Baena coming back from injury to the squad list.

It seems as if Atlético de Madrid will need a miracle on Saturday just to even get a point out of the match and become the first team to make Real Madrid drop some points this season. Realistically, it looks like Real Madrid will run over their neighbours with ease on Saturday at the Metropolitano.
