Levante

On Saturday Levante cruised past Girona, beating them 4-0. This earned them their first win of the season, against a Girona side who were very compromised due to going down to nine men after two red cards. Levante are now out of the relegation zone, as they sit at 15th place with four points.

Alexis Sánchez

Alexis Sánchez has now fully accommodated to his second LaLiga stint in just two games, assisting in his first and scoring in his second game. On Matchday 5, he scored the winning goal in a tight match away against Deportivo Alavés, in which he didn’t even start. Alexis Sánchez came off the bench after just 14 minutes because of Alfon González’s injury. Even though the situation could have caught Alexis off guard, he showcased his experience and his ability to adapt to any scenario, as he went on to score the winning goal.

Ferran Torres

FC Barcelona and Getafe carried out the last game of Matchday 5. The match proved to be a comfortable victory for Barcelona, in which Ferran Torres shined by scoring a brace. He’s now scored four goals in LaLiga this season and sits at just one goal behind the top scorer Kylian Mbappé.

Real Madrid

Another matchday, another three points for Real Madrid, as they defeated Espanyol 2-0. Éder Militão scored the first goal with an absolute rocket from outside the box. Kylian Mbappé scored the second, extending his goalscoring streak, having now scored in all his last five games. Real Madrid seem unstoppable, as they have yet to draw or lose a game this season, keeping their 100%-win record intact.

Borja Iglesias

“El Panda” once again showed up to save Celta de Vigo, having scored the club’s last three goals in their last three games. Even though Celta have drawn their last five games with the exact same scoreline of 1-1, it isn’t Borja Iglesias’ fault, as he has scored plenty of goals, fulfilling his duty as a striker.
