The second-youngest player to make the top 10 this season, Désiré Doué has taken the footballing world by storm. At his young age, he showed incredible maturity and unbelievable calmness. Even though young wingers tend to over dribble in certain situations, it seems as if Désiré Doué’s every move is well controlled and thought through to be as effective as possible. The French international stepped up in the biggest of games, providing two assists in the Coupe de France final and scoring a brace and providing an assist in the Champions League final. He became the youngest player ever to be named man of the match in a Champions League final.

A true midfield maestro, Vitinha was the best midfielder this season thanks to his elegant style of play and ability to run into space on and off the ball.
