25. Scott McTominay (Napoli & Scotland)

After leaving his boyhood club last summer, Scott McTominay reached new heights in his career by signing for Napoli and has appeared to have found a new place he can call home in Italy. He won the Scudetto and was named the Serie A MVP of the season.

24. Michael Olise (FC Bayern & France)

Michael Olise’s first season at Bayern Munich has been exceptional. He showcased his talent throughout the whole season, scoring 20 goals and providing 20 assists across all club competitions. He won the Bundesliga and was named rookie of the season for his outstanding performances.

23. Lautaro Martínez (Inter & Argentina)

Another great season for the Inter captain, Lautaro Martínez came up clutch for his team in big moments of the season especially in the Champions League, scoring nine goals in the competition, four of them coming in the knockout stages. Sadly, he was plagued by injuries in the last stretch of the season, as Inter went trophyless, losing the Champions League final, the Italian Super Cup final and missing out on the league title by a single point.

22. Vinícius Júnior (Real Madrid & Brazil)

After a world-class 2023/24 season, Vinícius Júnior was expected to continue his great form in the 2024/25 season, which he did in the first half of the season, but after the winter break, Vinícius Júnior’s level dropped significantly, and he couldn’t recover his decisive form again. Nevertheless, the Brazilian forward accumulated a total of 38 goal contributions for Real Madrid, which is an incredible performance in its own right.

21. Julián Alvarez (Atlético de Madrid & Argentina)

Julián Alvarez started this season out under a lot of pressure due to his move from Manchester City to Atlético de Madrid for a hefty price tag, but as soon as he stepped onto the pitch, the fans realized why the club had paid a lot of money for the Argentinian striker. He fit right into the club’s philosophy and scored 29 goals across all club competitions, seven of them in the Champions League. His goals weren’t the typical number nine finishes, as he scored absolute works of art from 30 yards out. His ranking was sadly heavily influenced by the lack of team success.
